In Year R there are three classes, Chaffinch,  Robin and Wren.

Mrs Jeffery teaches Chaffinch Class.
Mrs Baker and Mrs Gurd teach Robin Class.
Mrs Moore teaches Wren Class.

Year R is a very busy part of the school.  We are very good at sorting ourselves out in the morning, putting our things away and our reading books and diaries in the box for changing.  We choose what we would like for lunch and put our names on the board.  We also log how we travelled to school on our Travel Tracker website each morning.

We are learning our sounds and digraphs and have fun building words and using our phoneme fingers to help us.  It is very exciting taking books home to read each evening.

We really love being outside.  We like to use our outside classroom and to go into the woodland.  PE with John is the best fun.
