Dear Parents

Firstly, a big welcome to Kempshott Infant School!  We are all looking forward to working with you, to give your child the very best start to their education. I hope that they will learn, have fun and develop a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

Obviously things are slightly different this year, and unfortunately we are still not able to welcome you into the school building as we would have liked to in normal circumstances. However, it is very important that we establish contact with you and find out enough information about you, your child and your family to keep everyone safe now and for September.

I need to ask you to do a few things for me:

1.  Please scan/photograph:

  • Your child’s passport/birth certificate
  • Two different proofs of address (utility bills, council tax, driving licence for example)

2.  Please also complete this Teachers2Parents form and include with your email above.  This permission enables us to contact you via email and text.

3.  Please send the above documents to 2021intake@kempshott-inf.hants.sch.uk.  Please only use this email address to send us your documents.

Receipt of the above information is a necessary part of your acceptance of the school place offered. Without this, your place may be withdrawn.

When we have received the four documents listed above, we will be able to send you a form to complete that tells us very important information about your child. This will be a Google form. As soon as this information is received we will be able to communicate events designed to help your child’s transition into school. We are planning a couple of transition events on the afternoons of the 7th and 14th July (more details to follow), so please keep these dates free!

Please remember, while we cannot see you in school at the moment, we are available should you wish to contact us. At this stage we would ask that you telephone the school with any queries, as we will be having lots of emails with completed forms, and would prefer to be able to answer you directly. Please have a look through our New Parents Information Booklet first, as you may find the answer to your question there!

We look forward to welcoming you into our school, and meeting you very soon.

Best wishes

Nicola Potter
