Year 1 have continued looking at farm animals following their wonderful visit from

Millers Ark Farm last week and using their knowledge of senses to describe the noises

and how the different animals felt. They have been extremely busy and creative

making something wonderful for Mothering Sunday.

What another amazing and extremely busy week in Year 1.  They have continued learning

all about farm animals and enjoyed a visit from Miller’s Ark farm, where we all got to

stroke the animals including the very cute Kunekune pigs.

It has been a fantastically busy week in Year 1.  They have finished making their Easter chicks and learning about farms and farm animals.  They are really looking forward to Miller’s Ark farm visiting them later this month.

Today has been Maths day and they have had all sorts exciting challenges including adding up the class lunches for the day and counting how many tables and chairs are in the classroom.

learning lots about chickens and wrote our own fact file.”
